My Top 10 + 1

Throughout my life, I’ve taken note of some pretty incredible principles and have noted some great sayings that put things into perspective when I’ve needed perspective, given me inspiration when I’ve been in a rut, or have been a boon to my attitude when I’ve been feeling schlumpy.  Whatever the case might be, I keep these things close to heart and even say them to myself from time to time.

I shared these with a group of girls at the Home on the Range student ranch, and the thoughts seemed to resonate with many of them.  So, I share them with you too and may they be inspirational to you as well.
1.  Start small; remain faithful.
2.  Whatever you are, be a good one.
3.  I cannot give what I do not have.
4.  Doing lesser things will not make others think more of me.
5.  Anyone can give up; don’t be just anyone.
6.  My happiness is my responsibility.
7.  I was created to do great things.
8.  It’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice.
9.  Character speaks the loudest when it’s tested.
10.  This life is not about me.
11.  Believe in the dream.

Judy–I know, huh? I was beginning to feel like a neglectful mother. Now my guilt is a bit assuaged (I think I've used that term correctly?).
